The Dwarf House is the most important way-house in the northern Ufden. It is seated on the road between Oeft and the ferry which goes down the River Dans towards Ageutia, and as such virtually all Dwarves passing south into the Marchlandes go through the Dwarf House.
Owned by a blacksmithing family from Oeft who were pushed out due to competition between guilds in the city, they set up the Dwarf House atop a small hill at the junction between the road to Ageutia and the Western Road, which passes through the Eotonweard and the Greater Ufden beyond. Made of solid stone quarried from the nearby Mid Wall, it is regarded as the greatest example of Oeftine architecture outside the city of Oeft itself. Its solid walls have also made it able to withstand the many conflicts which have swept through the area in the past thirty years during the crusades against the orcs.
